Reasons to Love Home Movie Night
If you’re sick and tired of breaking the bank just to take the family out to a movie you should consider watching more at home. It’s not quite as new and different but you can set yourself up a nice little movie night for a fraction of the cost at home…here’s how.
Get the Movies: Head to the nearest Redbox or subscribe to Direct Satellite TV and you’ve got access to most of the newest theater releases the second they come out. You won’t have to leave home and you can stop and rewind to your heart’s content!
Make Your Own Snacks: Movie theater popcorn can cost up to 10 and can contain upwards of 1000 calories – not a great deal. Make your own at home or serve healthier treats for the kids like apple sticks and roasted nuts.
Bond Over the Flick: In a theater talking amongst yourselves is frowned upon which makes chatting about the film (or your day) nearly impossible. When you’re movie nighting it at home you can stop and pause when you need to and have a frank discussion about the film at hand.
